After their successful appearances in The BRAVE & the BOLD and SHOWCASE, The TEEN TITANS began an original seven-year run of 43 issues with the January-
February, 1966 issue.  The stories tried hard to be hip, and a real effort was made to have the Titans speak and act like teen-agers.  Still, the real attraction was the great Nick Cardy art.  That's what really made the book cool.
