DC's
Spaghetti Western
Written
by cartoonist Sergio Aragonés and drawn by the versatile Nick Cardy,
BAT
LASH was a comic out of place-- ahead of it's time and unable to find the
right audience. While it didn't last long, this comic is one of the
best Westerns ever produced. |

Bat
Lash debuted in the August, 1968 issue of SHOWCASE, a title DC used to
feature new creations, new concepts, and new spins on old ideas.
In fact, SHOWCASE was the title where DC's Silver Age began. Bat
Lash was certainly a worth installment in such a series. Two months
after his SHOWCASE debut, Bat Lash was given his own title. |
