Millie the Model

PART TWO:
Dan DeCarlo
Dan DeCarlo, the man who created the "Archie" style, began drawing Millie the Model with issue #18: June, 1949.  He remained on the book an incredible (especially in our times) ten years, to issue #93: November, 1959.  Interestingly enough, he was succeeded by Atlas/Marvel colorist Stan Goldberg ('Stan G'), the other man most associated with the "Archie" style.  In fact, many people commonly mistake Millie for an Archie comic.
